i was recently talking with chukri who just joined weviet as well about this idea of metadata re-ranking so one approach is you have the xg boost re-ranker where you take in the bm25 score the vector distance and then also symbolic features as the input. it's like and that's kind of like gbt index as well as laying chain i can't believe i haven't brought that up until now we can talk about that more in the neural search frameworks discussion on the weviet podcast.
