And I think it's for that sort of that social redirection, right? Like the mimetic desire. She says if we're following something we're intrinsically interested in, we'll tend to get engagement as a byproduct. If you're tweeting for the purposes of getting engagement, often that can backfire as a way to live your life, because you're targeting the abstract thing.Kohn: The reason why people get stuck in these holes is because they've targeted something abstract.
