The Dystopian World of the Medical Device Industry

Through donations I got a sick robotic hand which opened the door to me working for the hand manufacturer as a social media manager. The company's owner is a billionaire with a yacht a watermelon farm and an obsession with wearing stupid little scarves even in Texas heat. Meanwhile there's people out there begging his company for the body parts they need. And if you're lucky enough to have the money for a prosthetic or win some kind of grant you have to prove to your insurance company that the prosthetic is medically necessary. Do you really need a hand? It reminds me of when somebody ordered something from she in and they're like it didn't arrive and they send pictures of their empty hand
