Is There a Mainstream Media in Iran?

In Iran, the government is trying to shut down all forms of communication. That's an absolutely despotic tyrannical move, right? Ultimately, it'll just fuel the revolution even more because people will realize the deep corruption and oppressive violence. I think mainstream media is a big part of the problem. When I started with the chippo movement, there was nothing like international media. We were used to the fact that big things can happen and they'll never be reported. Then comes globalization and the more recent hyper globalization. Basically, you never get real news about any place.
