The Paradox of Semiotization

In Rumi, a phenomenon that exists outside our head is turned into a sign. For mystics, the reality of their mystical experience on the one hand, and the reality of the ultimate truth that is God, if we may call it, is so complex that no natural language can semiotize that. At the same time, someone like me cannot resist the urge to talk about this experience in terms of linguistic utterances. The paradox within Rumi materializes itself in the form of 128,000 verses of,. well, at least half of which belong to Divan.
