The Dangers of Science Fiction

I think even the hardest examples of sci-fi you could point to, you still have to immerse yourself in the movie viewing experience and certain elements of the plot. So yeah, I tend to not think that's a problem. But as long as a film is just committing to some kind of pseudo scientific absurdity, you know, yeah, I don't care. The problem is when it's insisting, no, this is real. This is really how the world is and it's still getting it wrong.
