Regeneration and Baptism

Baptism is an empty sign. It's a sign that does not bring forth what it signifies, simply a sign. There is some kind of conceptual link between baptism and Regeneration. But the question i have is, ok, what's the conceptual link? In other words, it's not actually regenerating. Like you said, andrew, if yout there can be those who could be saved through the gospel being preached in baptism, but that does not therefore follow that the a sign itself is saving or regenerating. You see? What i'm saying is, it's very clear. Well, they want to say it's not anempty sign. And it seems that that
