How to Improve Carbon Dioxide Tolerance
There's a one-to-one correlation between the ability to tolerate carbon dioxide, high-mass carbon dioxide, and not having anxiety. If I can hold my breath ultimately, or I can accumulate higher amounts of CO2, the likelihood of me having an anxiety attack goes way down. The nervous system is kind of like the wiring that connects the perception and the brain from the proprioceptive input from the senses. So regardless of what you're sensing, the nervous system can influence how the brain perceives it.
