Make sure you have robust long runs first, then start to introduce a little bit of speed work. These are also opportunities to basically use these long runs as dress rehearsals for race day. So that's number five. Take two of them, introduce them into this cycle, save the others for another cycle. If you do that, I promise you, you'll take that next big step forward in training.
