Ford has been around for over a century and haven't gone bankrupt. And basically no car company, American car companies can really say that. When the chips are down and the pressure's on, it's not that surprising that the car companies will be like, I'm just not going to keep sinking billions of dollars into developing something that does genuinely, potentially, disrupt my business at some point.
