critical pedagogy has, at least for years, completely colonized our colleges of education. This book is very important in exposing how these ideas antithetical to the entire western tradition, as a set of western values. And so again, i applaud the author for telling us the nightmare that he helped create. I seek to illuminate some of the central questions raised in the first forty years of critical scholarship and discuss some of the conceptual frames that scholars in the field have adopted.
