What Do Your Eyes Show You?

Fos, in a way, our eyes are liars, not in what they portray, but in the implication of their portrayals. Our eyes highlight to us one thing, what surrounds us now. We receive a snapshot of the current moment. What took me years to understand is that possibility and hope live far beyond what surrounds us right now. And it's that pursuit of possibility that saved my life. Immerming myself in the unseen, perhaps we were given the now not to subserviently accept it, but to transform it.
