CIA's 75th Anniversary Celebration
After World War II ended, the OSS was disbanded along with many of the other war agencies. President Truman signed the National Security Act to create a new post-war intelligence organization. The CIA officially came into existence on September 18, 1947; it's 75 years ago this month.
