The Next Best Lies Are the Ones That Are Most True

Last week, we looked at how lies play to disordered desires in a sinful society. This week the plan is to go deeper into that hypothesis and examine some of jesus' most indepedent teachings on the devil. We'll start by reading from Genesis chapter three where he ties the devil's primary strategy of lies to the story of the snake in the garden of eden. The temptation is to over simplify the complexity of the human experience with simple slogans like "#metoo" or "#justsayit," which are up the devil's alley.
