The New Age Movement Makes Money Off of a False Epistemology
There is the idea of like auto suggestion or just being being led or having placebo convince yourself that something is going on when it's really not. So they're bringing confirmation bias to their practices, which is causing them to read into these experiences,. thinking they're having them when there's no science backing up their scientific claims that they're actually making. The new age movement literally makes its money off of a false epistemology a false theory of knowledge.
