Dreams and the Odyssey of Homer

In the Iliad in the Odyssey of Homer, dreams appear to heroes and give them advice. In Virgil's Aeneid, dreams appear ante ocholos before one's eyes - which could be an attestation of this meaning in Homer. Another interpretation is that Hubert Kefales is intended to mean in plain sight.
