The number of children in the U.S. living below the poverty line has plummeted by 59% since 1993. Even despite the Great Recession, expansion of the earned income tax credit and other safety net programs helped bring 11 million children out of poverty over the last 30 years. Some economists like Campbell Harvey say that despite how inverted yield curves have preceded previous recession, this time it's a false flag. And Moody's chief economist is saying that we're in for a slow session.
