The New Regime of the Solar Wind
We are entering a new regime of the solar wind. We have been waiting for this for 60 years now, and we are doing it. The actual surface of the sun is also wavy and undulating and continually moving. And so it's really driving the corona. So corona gets held at a certain distance above the sun by various different processes. As those processes change, the location of the boundary will also change.
