How to Measure Your Flexors With an Open Hand

With an open hand you're measuring two different things. With a closed fist if you go towards flexion you are really measuring the extensor muscles and then when you close you're measuring the joint. The problem in my opinion is when you go into extension it's the complete opposite. I like to feel the end feel of with an open hand into flexion I'm feeling for what's happening at the joints again so I'm trying to understand how does the joint feel Does it feel quite stiff or does it feel like normal joint which I'll measure  at the gross range of motion he says. He will use the quality and symptoms that I'm provoking as part of his series on movement
