Danato Di Camillo's Story of Learning to Shoot in Manual Mode While Under House Arrest
As a child, Danato Di Camillo suffered behavioral problems with anger. He was expelled from school at the age of 16 for violence and found himself in and out of institutions and jails. Ironically, Danato became very interested in photography while serving out a federal prison sentence in Virginia. When he was released in 2012, Danato taught himself to use a camera while being in home confinement. So he photographed just stuff around the house. In this clip, he shares the inspiring story behind learning to shoot in manual mode while under house arrest.
