Evidence of a Cataclysmic Event at Abu Herrera

This chapter discusses the evidence of a cataclysmic event known as the Younger Dryas impact that occurred 12,800 years ago at Abu Herrera. The presence of shocked quartz, platinum, iridium, and carbon microspherules provide evidence of a cosmic impact. Despite the site being underwater now, soil samples taken before its submersion are yielding valuable evidence.
