I think maybe the key differences between you and I here is that I'm a little more skeptical of his belief that it's true. He he, I mean, one of the things you teach undergraduates is when you're writing about a work you use the present tense,. Like he thinks it's true like in the book, whatever, it doesn't matter. It seems to me more plausible than, you know, whatever word we want to use that's in between plausible and verified.
