The Pros and Cons of App Links
App links is another way to register these sort of ways for the app to take control, right? And ways for us to launch the app from an attacker's perspective, right? Yeah. Now the main, the other main thing about app links is that there's a special attribute or a field that you can add to your Android manifest called permissions. That means it has to be defined and maintained by the company outside of the app. It reaches out, checks that before it does anything, but it means you need internet access. But again, it's HTTP and HTTPS only. So it's not for like custom schemes.
