The Costs of Opting Out of Social Media
Do you think people are tiring of social media or is it so baked into our lives that we simply can't go back now? I spent a lot of time studying the creator economy through various transitions and shifts in the social media landscape. The most recent shifts, including the rise of threads is just another forum for them to feel that they need to create content. This amounts to a lot of labor, much of which is uncompensated or undercompensated.
