Is There a Criminal Investigation for Setting Fires on Purpose?
20 thousand hectors in one fire is really a huge kind of devastation. For us people, you know, being scientists working with the environment, people managing the environment, this is hard to understand. But we know what is happening. And the criminal investigators very often can make sure it was arson. Often they don't find the suspect, eh? What makes it special is this year, is that these these strong winds and these very hot temperatures that make those single fires very rapidly a very extreme fire.
