Is There a Way to Reset Bitcoin?

If governments today, what if they said, okay, we're going to let the system unwind and then just as it all unwound and reset, they protected a couple of banks and rebuilt it? That would have enormous short term implications for Bitcoin as well as an asset class. And again, I don't expect that out. But when you're dealing in an environment that is so fast, far past the point of rescue, we should be looking for what type of things could manipulate or create the system and reset it and come back over the other side.
