The Pros and Cons of Apology
30 some odd states now have a law that at least applies to doctors saying an apology is not admissible in court as admission of guilt when it comes to medical liability. In many places, it is 100% possible to apologize to a client for a mistake without taking on legal liability for doing so. I think it's better just on a human and moral level to look somebody in the eye and say, I'm sorry.
