The Importance of Storyboards
I think as an editor my wall is just the screen in front of me, which is kind of like a cinema goers world. I'm not responding to whatever is happening on the day. And I also say it kind of bursts my bubble sometimes when I come out onto set because I realize that that house you're shooting in isn't real. The times that Nolan and everyone would laugh at me and I'm going, are you serious? That's a set. Of course it's a set! How do you think about that? Because Sam was explaining that bunker set where you were removing walls and... Oh, yes. Yes, they got a camera. But I didn't see that
