The Theological Meaning of the Word Theosis

A person has to consider whether or not they have things worth carrying across the sea, across the ocean. So it's an investment to build a habit because we're not and there will be gates that unless we have it in us already to put out that hand and catch the door without thinking about the pain, we might not do it. The Stoics knew they had to endure for some reason. They called the cosmos, they called order. And more to the point, theosis, our being like God in love. That now comes to the theological meaning of that word as opposed to the emotional valence of that word.
