Introduction

David Kessler is an expert on grief, dying, loss and everything from the loss of a loved one to what happens when we die on this side of death. He grew up going in and out of hospitals with his mother who had her kidney removed before he was born. As a kid, police shooting fire, it's adventure; as a 13-year-old boy, I thought this was kinda cool. But then they rush everyone back into the hotel because there's a sniper who's shooting people.
