How to Maximize Your Value in Soccer

Bobby Wood's salary is already rageously high and probably commensurate with his skill, but another market where the top players can get money so much higher than what they're getting in the Premier League or La Liga. The only thing that makes sense to me is that they do want to eventually own the top levels of soccer. Why not take a mid career intermission where you can actually capitalize on your full value?
