The Sanhedrin Meeting in the Home of the Chief Priest

This is not the formal sanhedrin, it's late at night. And they've done this all under cover of darkness on purpose, to avoid the public. This helps us see why the trial of jesus is so corrupt,. breaking over 15 commandments held by jewish teaching about how to conduct investigation and hold a trial appropriately. They break all these rules because they don't care. They are the chief priests. Now, they care just enough, like they l maintain enough rules that they are alined with tora, but they just don't care about all the extra jewish rulings of what's necessary. So they've figured out how to live within all these corrupt loopholes.
