The Strongest God Who Creates the Other Gods
In Deuteronomy 32 there is a notion that there was a high God whose name was L E L sorry we spell it, who creates all the different gods of the world. He also appoints gods for each of these different regions and Israel and Jacob are allotted to yummy. In other words, Yahweh happens to get Jacob it doesn't tell us quite why but it tells us that this is how it was.
