The Guardian's Night Shift

Basil had a week's work experience with the Guardian Sports Desk. He then did some night shifts before shooting some day shifts on the online sports desk. Basil was offered a press association traineeship and said he would only take it if they gave him a job. The journalist eventually decided to pursue his dream of working in journalism.
