The History of Zionism

When Zionism was invented, there were people who called themselves the Canaanan. They decided they wanted to be Hebrews but it didn't get off the ground because why would anybody want to be a Canaanian? The problem was that they had to retroactively create a whole new Jewish history. So Ben Ben-Gurion hired this guy, Ben-Sian Deener, to create a whole curriculum where he invented a whole Jewish history about how the Jews for thousands of years were looking for political return to Israel.
