Sartia Brantley: I feel that your book works to counter the narrative that black women need to be married and be a part of a two person household. What do you hope people who are listening take this conversation and what actions do you hope come out of this? She says she wants us to destigmatize singlehood, stand confident in their singlehood and not think they have to be partnered or married.
