One story says that the woman grew up in Liverpool with an identical twin. Some people thought she drowned around 1900, but an image of her cast appears in a drawing manual from 30 years earlier. In 1951, an article in the newspaper La Press said, the mysterious identity of the unknown woman of the Seine has not yet been discovered.
