Going Offline in the Sierra? Is That a Good Idea?

Every week or two, you will stop in a town. And that's basically my idea is I'll download my podcast for the week,. audiobooks, music, all that sort of thing. But I don't think it's going to be like a constant thing. For one, there's rattlesnakes. So you don't want to come up on one of those and not hear the warning signal. Also just the spatial awareness of traveling through very snowy areas in the Sierra.
