The most common thing that happens when people make any amount of money is they join what's termed the rat race. When you start at 42,000, then go to 59,000, and then eight years later, you're at 150,000. It doesn't magically end at 200,000. People who live far below their means enjoy a freedom that other people busy upgrading their lifestyles can't even fathom. The vast majority of people are forever stuck in their rat race until maybe retirement age.

Elliot Bisnow is an entrepreneur. He is the co-creator of Summit and Summit At Sea - an international conference that has featured speakers like Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson, and Gary Vaynerchuk.
