The Effects of Depression and Anxiety on Cancer Risk

There has long been, even within the cancer community, a hypothesis that there is some sort of correlation between mental illness and cancer. The American Cancer Society published a study called Depression, Anxiety, and the Risk of Cancer in Individual Participant Data Meta Analysis. They looked to see if there were any relationships, associations between depression, anxiety, and the incidence of various different types of cancer.
