With large companies, there'll be many people that you might occasionally have to interact with where you haven't built up like a long track record and seen their history. The likelihood is inherently higher that you're going to be talking with somebody you haven't met before. In the large organizations, large organizations really run on gossip. So it's just a good idea to always act in a way that you'd be proud of.
