Is There a Skill Shortage?

The market for working coders is much more competitive than the market for teachers teaching coding. It's rare that a tenured professor is up to date on them because that's not what they do. But I think it's economics or yeah, but with certainly with practical stuff, so data science, web stuff,. And yet that's what students in the real world will jump in and do.
