The Biden Administration Should Have Accepted Responsibility for Inflation
The Biden administration had to delete a tweet that it put out earlier today in which it claimed credit for the big increase in Social Security benefits. John Avlon: If you're going to claim credit for social security increases, then you have to also accept responsibility for inflation. He says if Republicans deliver tax cuts to accompany Biden's spending increases, they'll throw more gasoline on this inflation fire.Avlon: The Fed is going to cave because politically it has no alternative. And I believe the weakness in the stock market is going to continue beyond the election.
