The Bias in Happiness
Sally Kohn: There's this idea, well, happiness is just such a subjective term. And here I often think about, you know, my wife has worked at several law firms and I know a bunch of partners, a law firms who are seeing to be miserable people. She says that the cultural universal of smiling people are happy seems pretty odd to her.Kohn: The bias that I would expect in the self reported happiness would actually point in the opposite direction.
