The Importance of Comic Sans

The creator of comic sans says the font is not appropriate for all things. He compares it to a much more beloved font called Helvetica. The strokes of Helvetica's letter forms are unmodulated, which helps legibility. If you squint your eyes, you'll notice there is a disproportionately heavy area where these strokes meet on Comic Sans.
