Do We Speak So Slow?

It's not a good idea to use the present continuous. We need an adverb because speak is a verb and slow is an adjective. These days, you hear people using adjectives with adverbs in American English. But really, you should be using an adverb. And by the way, do we speak so slowly? How do you think, Craig? I think we speak as teachers speak.
