The DSM-5 Diagnosis of DMDD in Children

This is a new diagnosis for children, okay? Why people worried about the DMDD or why they felt it was necessary to bring up this diagnosis which is a DSM-5 diagnosis now. Because we had all these patients who were overly diagnosed with bipolar disorder and that was the reason. So these children have severe temper tantrums. At least they have to have advice weekly, persistent irritability for at least 12 or more months. The age has to be before age 10. If it was me, I would erase it from the DSM or intermittent explosive disorder.
