Cash had a religious experience as a kid when his elder brother, who had wanted to become a priest, had died. Cash wanted to be a gospel singer to pay tribute to his brother, while also indulging his own love of music. At one of their jam sessions, Cash brought in a song he had written himself, based on a story from the Bible. The other two were amazed, not so much by the song itself, but by the fact that you could write a song at all. He was weighed in the balance and found wanting His kingdom was divided, couldn't stand. Will the people feast and drink their wine and praise the false gods of his time?
