The Power of Beliefs

There are certain beliefs that are what might be called or have been called controlling beliefs. And this is what he observed out of the Bible. A lot of Christians who claim to believe in the authority of the Bible, yet they treat the Bible as a kind of book of moral advice. The Bible then essentially becomes a collection of things that we both metaphorically and literally cross stitch and hang on the walls of our lives.
