This is the most important time of the year for a general manager. If you don't make a trade by 6 p.m. on August 1st, you can't improve your organization again until the World Series is over. You've got to be in daily communication with your owner as you work through this. Just like the Dodgers yesterday when they acquired Ahmed Rosario, wasn't their first choice for short stops. But at the end of the day, the job is to make your team better.
